Give your jackets collection an instant upgrade with on-trend additions from Universal Works. Universal Works uses only high quality materials for its jackets, such as wool, ensuring each piece looks as good as it feels. Specialising in elevated essentials that are made to last, the label’s range has something to suit every shopper. Universal Works continues to impress with its wide selection of coveted pieces that always feel modern. High-quality pieces that are made from wool require a little care and maintenance to keep them looking their best. To ensure wool remains in perfect condition for years to come, we recommend checking the instructions on the care label before attempting to clean. As the material is prone to shrinking in hot water, always wash in cold or low temperatures. Most wool is washable, with the main exception of structured pieces like suits, jackets and blazers, which are best spot cleaned. Otherwise, most wool can be either hand washed, or washed in the machine on a gentle cycle of 30°C or less, using a mild PH neutral detergent and turned inside out first. To reduce the risk of shrinkage, soak your wool item in cold water before machine washing. Avoid tumble drying, as it can cause shrinkage, ruin the look of the fabric or become damaged. All wool knitwear may pill after a few wears, but these small bobbles can be easily removed with a pilling comb. Discover our huge selection of the brand’s jackets to find your perfect look.
