Sebago is a Michigan-based footwear company founded in 1946 by three New England natives: Daniel J. Wellehan Sr., William Beaudoin and Joseph Cordeau. Their first shoe, the hand-sewn penny loafer, was styled after the Indian moccasin and pioneered what would become the company's signature style. Today, the brand is known for its iconic boat shoe 'Docksides', as well as high-end dress shoes for gentlemen. The exposed stitching and rope lacing details of Sebago boots are a celebration of the brand's nautical, moccasin-inspired trademarks. Luxurious fabrics and fine detailing create fashion-forward boots that pay homage to traditional footwear.
