Hackett began life in 1979 when Jeremy Hackett and Ashley Lloyd-Jennings met at Portobello Road market looking for second hand men's clothing in classic, traditional designs. This led to a business partnership and a stall on the market, and eventually to the establishment of a brand that has grown in stature and style every since. From the initial market stall selling second hand clothes, the brand now offers the timeless style of vintage pieces, produced with traditional manufacturers, but updated for the modern market. Shop the clothing range for lambs wool jumpers and gingham shirts, quilted parkas, khaki leather sleeveless jackets and cashmere knits. The brand also has a number of sporty lines, including Great Britain and racing stripe polo shirts.
