British designer Alexander McQueen was born in East London in 1970. The son of a taxi driver, McQueen left school at the age of 16 and went to work as an apprentice tailor on London's Savile Row. In 1996, he succeeded John Galliano as Givenchy's Head Designer, and went on to create the wardrobe for David Bowie's tour later that same year. Featuring the designer's iconic skull print designs and ribcage patterns, Alexander McQueen wallets are the ultimate statement accessory.
