Biba have become synonymous with the Sixties thanks to its 'Bold, beautiful Biba' aesthetic. Founded by Barbar Hulanicki and her husband Stephen Fitz-Simo, the brand was propelled to fame thanks to a gingham dress similar to that worn by Brigitte Bardot. With global demand for its directional, on-trend design, by the Seventies it had become a household name. Reinvigorated under its relaunch with House of Fraser in 2010, the label developed a range of bags that stay true to the brand's roots. Crafted with a distinctive retro flavour, the totes, handbags, bowler bags, hobos and beach bags feature vibrant designs that are experimental and graphic, accented with the label's iconic logo hardware.
