Finished with a different coloured enamel detail to match each metal, adorning the dancing elephant's back and head, this elegant pendant will offer an eclectic flash of vibrance to your everyday attire. The inspiration behind this novel everyday piece was based on the best selling Liberty London Scarf and hero print 'Imran'. Imran is typical of the 'oriental' style of textiles common in the first quarter of the 20th century. Western designers produced these patterns, but the themes are based on Indian and Persian miniatures. The design dates back to 1993, however the first Imran design is much older dating back to 1916 and was used originally as a dress fabric. The current Imran scarf design has a border of marching elephants which became the inspiration for this pendant necklace. Colour: green
