This unbelievably tiny (1 1/8" long! Skull was originally found in a science teacher's supply catalog. The original belonged to a ruby-throated hummingbird, (Archilochus colubris) which are mostly found in eastern and central US, but breeds throughout the central US and Central America. Reaching a length of only 3 inches, they are, along with other hummingbirds, the smallest birds in the world. We cast this specimen in 14K yellow gold and and put it on a 14K gold chain.
