Made in England from our signature 100% long-staple cotton, our classic Long Sleeve T-Shirt is a year-round staple. Combining a clean aesthetic with a classic fit, it looks great worn simply with jeans or layered under a fine merino jumpers on cooler days. We've made t-shirts in England for decades – a proud part of our heritage that we like to think gives us a certain expertise when it comes to knowing exactly what it takes to make the best t-shirts possible. The perfect fit is essential, as is the perfect fabric. We make the majority of out t-shirts from our Q (for Quality) 82 fine cotton jersey that is a descendent of the original lisle cotton Sunspel used on some of the earliest t-shirts ever made. It is constructed from long-staple cotton fibres that are twisted together to create a strong, smooth thread that won't tangle through being worn or washed. This twist makes it a supremely clean yarn, though we still pass it over a flame to remove any overhanging ends. The yarn is then double-spun to remove any remaining impurities. It might be said that this is rather a laborious process, but we think that the resulting jersey that is not only long lasting, but also the lightest and the softest that we have ever felt, is worth every effort. Classic fit. True to size - if between sizes opt for the smaller. 100% long-staple cotton. Machine wash at 40 degrees. Made in England. Color: black

About Men's Sunspel T Shirts
Sunspel is a world-famous British clothing label founded in 1860 by Thomas A. Hill. Hill began by creating simple, everyday clothing and revolutionary men's underwear from beautiful cottons rather than traditional wool. This pioneering idea, and Hill's use of impeccable hand craftsmanship, made Sunspel an instant classic. The label's fame was accelerated when, in 1985, Nick Kamen wore Sunspel boxer shorts in the iconic Levi's launderette commercial. Luxurious fabrics, expert cuts and perfect fits characterise Sunspel T-shirts. These classic designs are an investment in timeless British fashion heritage.
